Equestrian to Compete in Tournament of Champions

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Equestrian team will compete in the Tournament of Champions Invitational this weekend at West Texas A&M University.

The Invitational features top teams from around the country. The show will start on Saturday morning with the Hunter competition and conclude that afternoon with the Western competition.

"This competition is unique because they usually invite traditionally the top teams, " said Head Coach Larry Sanchez. "At this competition you get to see teams that you do not normally get to and it gives you a bearing on where your team is at late in the season."

Last time out the Equestrian team hosted the regional championships. The Cowgirls crowned four regional champions and advanced 14 to the zone championships.
