Cowboys Compete at Chile Pepper Invitational

Oklahoma State's men's cross country team competed at the University of Arkansas' Chile Pepper Invitational Saturday morning, finishing 22^nd in the 33 team field on the 10k Razorback Cross Country Course.

The race was a chance for a number of young team members to compete while the top-seven runners sat the weekend out to rest.

Sophomore Sean McCabe was the Cowboys' top finisher in his first race of the season, taking a 70^th-place finish in 31:57. Fellow sophomore Marcus Hershberger finished one spot behind with an identical time.

Oklahoma State will spend the next two weeks preparing for the Big 12 Championships on October 31 in Austin, Tex.
