Faltynkova Falls in First Round of NCAA Tournament

Oklahoma State junior Linda Faltynkova fell to 4th seeded Nataly Cahana of Old Dominion, 6-4, 6-0, in the first round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Singles Championship in Stanford, Calif.

Faltynkova ended the spring season with an overall record of 17-7.

Faltynkova will team up with sophomore Katya Kolodynska in the Doubles Championship on Wednesday. The duo will face Stanford's Lauren Barnikow and Erin Burdette at 5 p.m.

The duo enters the tournament with a record of 17-4.
