Softballers Earn Postseason Honors

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Three players from the Oklahoma State softball team were named to the All-Big 12 teams, and five were named to the Academic All-Big 12 team, it was announced earlier today at the Big 12 Tournament Banquet in Oklahoma City.
Junior Lauren Bay, a three-time honoree was named to first-team All-Big 12 as a pitcher and sophomore Jade Lindly also earned first-team honors as an outfielder. Junior Ryan Realmuto was named to the second team as a catcher, earning the honor as an at-large selection.
Five Cowgirls were recognized for their success in the classroom with Academic All-Big 12 honors. Bay also earned first team academic honors and was joined by sophomore Calli Behmer and senior Jenny Kipp, a four-time honoree. Junior Stephanie Hodges and Lindly were selected to the second team to round out the list of Cowgirl accolades.
Oklahoma State will face Nebraska at 11 a.m. on Friday in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
