Cowgirls Fall To Texas In Big 12 Tournament

Oklahoma State's women's tennis team fell to No. 10 ranked Texas, 4-1, on Saturday in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament.
The Cowgirls trailed 1-0 after losing two of three doubles matches.
The No. 12 ranked duo of junior Linda Faltynkova and Katya Kolodynska defeated No. 29 ranked Ziva Grasic and Vladka Uhlirova, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles.
The Longhorns never looked back as they won three of four completed singles matches to clinch the victory.
Junior Kate Vasylyeva defeated Joanne Masongsong in straight sets at No. 3 singles, 6-1,6-3.
The loss drops the Cowgirls to 14-11 on the season.
