LAST TIME OUT
Oklahoma State split its series with Texas A&M in a doubleheader on Sunday. In game one, the Cowgirls used two home runs to slide past the Aggies, 3-2. Megan Carey put OSU on the board with a two-run dinger in the bottom of the second. A&M knotted the game at two in the sixth when Lindsey Wilhelmson doubled down the left field line to bring in the tying run. OSU would not be denied and Jenny Kipp hit her fifth long ball of the year in the bottom of the frame, a solo shot to left field to lift the Cowgirls to victory. Oklahoma State struck first in the second game as well. Jenny Kipp got the offense going, doubling to left center and advancing on a sacrifice bunt by Casey O'Neill. Stephanie Hodges followed with a powerful single just over the second baseman's head that brought Jenny Kipp home. One run would not be enough for OSU, as the Aggies proved to have the hot hand in game two, taking their turn with the long ball in the top of the sixth.
