Dates Set For OSU Auctions

Oklahoma State's Athletics Department has announced the dates of the 2002 OSU Athletics Dinner and Benefit Auctions in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The Oklahoma City auction will be held on Friday, April 26, at The Cox Business and Convention Center (formerly The Myriad), while the Tulsa auction will be held on Saturday, May 4, at The Clear Channel Events Center.
The Oklahoma City Live Auction will feature:
- Babe Ruth autographed baseball
- Three day guided pheasant hunt via private aircraft to Pierre, South Dakota
- Trips to away games with Cowboy Football and Cowboy Basketball
- Barry Sanders autographed memorabilia
- Bullet's trailor
- Trip to Seattle to watch Desmond Mason and the Seattle Sonics
The Tulsa Live auction will feature:
- Babe Ruth autographed issue of "The Sporting Guide"
- Trips to away games with Cowboy Football and Cowboy Basketball
- Mickey Mantle autographed Little League bat
- Barry Sanders autographed OSU helmet
- Suite in Gallagher-Iba Arena for a Cowboy Basketball non-conference or exhibition game
- Trip to Seattle to watch Desmond Mason and the Seattle Sonics
The auctions will also feature:
- Dinner with Coach Miles and Coach Sutton
- Various autographed sports memorabilia
- Trips to the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament in Dallas
- Condo stays in Colorado, New Mexico, and Florida
- Trips to professional sporting events
- Golf at Oklahoma's premier courses
- OSU clothing items
- OSU memorabilia
- Men's and women's clothing and jewelry
- Gift certificates for local restaurants, hotels, and movie theatres
- Home improvement items
A table of 10 costs $650 and individual seats cost $75 per person. All proceeds from the OSU Athletics Dinner and Benefit Auctions will go towards the OSU Athletic Scholarship Fund. Last year's auctions in Tulsa and Oklahoma City raised more than $272,000 for OSU's student-athletes.
