Cowgirl Softball Clinic Dates Set

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State Softball will host the Cowgirl All-American Softball Day Clinics Tues., June 4 thru Thurs., June 6.
The clinics will feature Oklahoma State Softball Head Coach Margaret Rebenar, Associate Head Coach Kim Ward and Assistant Coach Eric Whitley. Cowgirl players will also be on hand to serve as clinicians.
Session 1 will be held on Tues., June 4 and will be for pitchers and catchers. The clinic will cover fastpitch pitching skills and pitchers will be divided into skill groups and instructed accordingly.
Catchers will also receive in-depth instruction on the basic mechanics of catching including: pickoffs, steals, blocking balls, calling pitches and reading hitters.
Session 2 will be held on Wed., June 5 and will cover batting and bunting. This clinic will provide in-depth instruction on fastpitch hitting fundamentals and bunting.
Session 3 will be held on Thurs., June 6 and will cover the defensive aspects of the game.
The cost for each instruction-packed clinic is $70. All girls age six and older may attend the clinics and high school seniors are allowed to participate under NCAA rules. To register for the clinics contact Head Coach Margaret Rebenar at (405) 744-5883, as space is limited.
