Women's Netters Fall to Jayhawks

Oklahoma State's 23rd-ranked women's tennis team fell to Kansas 6-1 on Saturday in Lawrence, Kan.
OSU fell behind early after dropping two of three doubles matches.
The No. 6th-ranked duo of junior Linda Faltynkova and sophomore Katia Kolodynska was upset by Courtney Steinbock and Kristen Steinbock 8-2 at the No. 1 doubles position.
The only match point for the Cowgirls was won by junior Kate Vasylyeva at the No. 3 singles position. Vasylyeva defeated Paige Brown 6-1, 6-3.
The match marks the second of three consecutive road matches for OSU. The Cowgirls fell to Missouri on Friday 4-3.
OSU will return to action on Sunday against Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan. at 2:30 p.m.
