Cowgirl Equestrian Riders Set to Compete at Regionals

"We are expecting some good things," assistant coach Suzanne Flaig said. "Everyone that qualified for regionals has a good chance to move on to zones and then to nationals.
"The riders we have are national caliber riders and hopefully will place in the top three and move on."
The Hunt Seat team qualified seven riders, while the Western team qualified eight.
The Hunt Seat team finished the year with 245 points earning a team berth at the zone championships. The Western team finished the year in second place with 172 points and will compete at the zone championships in Stillwater, Okla., for a berth to Nationals.
The top three riders qualify for zones and will compete to earn a berth to nationals on May 2-5 at Cazenovia College, N.Y.
