Cowgirl Softball Travels to Florida

STILLWATER, Okl.a - Oklahoma State's softball team travels to Tampa, Fla., this weekend to compete in the Speedline Invitational Tournament, hosted by South Florida.
The Cowgirls will open the tournament with a 4 p.m. (CST) contest on Thursday against Northern Illinois and will face South Florida at 6 p.m.
On Friday, OSU will square off with UT Chattonooga at 1 p.m. and Virginia Tech at 3 p.m.
OSU will play its final game in pool play in a 1 p.m. contest with Purdue on Saturday. Tournament action gets underway late Saturday afternoon with two single elimination games scheduled for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The tournament will conclude with the semi-final and final games of the consolation and championship bracket on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and noon, respectively.
Oklahoma State (11-6) looks to rebound from a 2-4 performance at the Worth Invitational in California last weekend. OSU is currently ranked 27th in the coaches poll, moving up two spots from last week.
