Kipp Named Big 12 Player Of The Week

STILLWATER, Okla. - Jenny Kipp, a senior on Oklahoma State's softball team, was named the Big 12 Conference's softball Player of the Week, it was announced today, by the league office.

Kipp, a senior from Gilbert, Ariz., had a .556 batting average for the week, going 10-for-18 at the Speedline Invitational in Plant City, Fla. In the 8-2 victory over Northern Illinois, she hit two home runs to up her season total to three.

In the six games played, Kipp had two doubles, four RBIs an on-base percentage of .579 and a 1.000 slugging percentage.

Oklahoma State returns to action Thursday when it hosts OCU at 6 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium.
