Cowgirl Softball Travels to Tempe

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's softball team travels to Tempe, Ariz., this weekend to compete in the Louisville Slugger Classic hosted by Arizona State University.

The Cowgirls will face Michigan State on Friday at 10 a.m. (CST) to open the classic. Following that game, OSU will play sixth-ranked Iowa at 1:30 p.m.

On Saturday, OSU will play Illinois State at 1:30 p.m., followed by eighth-ranked Arizona State at 5:30 p.m. The Cowgirls will wrap up the classic Sunday morning with a second game against Iowa at 9 a.m.

Oklahoma State is 5-0 this season, its best start since 1998, after opening up the year at the UTA Tournament in Grand Prairie, Texas, last weekend.

OSU returns to Cowgirl Stadium next week to host Eastern Oklahoma State. The two teams will play a doubleheader at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.
