'Together We Care' Softball Benefit Scheduled

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Athletic Department, along with various members of the Stillwater community, will conduct the inaugural "Together We Care" softball benefit on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium.

The softball game pits OSU Athletic Department employees and student-athletes versus employees of various Stillwater companies. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12. All proceeds will be donated to local charities.

Following the softball game, fans will have a chance to meet members of all the 2001-02 athletic teams as well as coaches, and get autographs. There will also be a Home Run Derby and watermelon feed following the game.
