Cowgirls Crown National Champion

ATLANTA, Ga. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl equestrian team crowned an individual national champion today at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Show today in Atlanta, Ga.

Sophomore Jenny Myles was named the IHSA champion in her western class. Saturday, Myles placed sixth in her hunt seat class.

"I am proud of how our riders performed today. The show was very well run, and I was excited aobut the quality of competition that we faced," head coach Larry Sanchez said. "I'm looking forward to returning next year."

In other action today, Amber Higgins placed fourth in her western class and Casie Cavanaugh placed 10th.
