Oklahoma State's 12th-ranked women's tennis team defeated 50th-ranked Nebraska on Sunday at the Woods tennis Center.
Oklahoma State won four-of-six singles matches and two-of-three doubles matches en route to a 5-2 victory over the Huskers.
OSU's 38th-ranked doubles team of senior Maria Galoustova-Phillips and junior Ashleigh Dolman defeated Leslie Harvey and Rose Ketmayura, 8-6, at the No. 1 spot, to record to first team point.
Sophomore Linda Faltynkova and freshman Katarzyna continued their winning streak to 22 consecutive matches as they defeated Katarina Balan and Amy Fisch, 8-3, at the No. 3 position.
The Cowgirls were led by Phillips, who recorded her 17th victory by defeating Harvey in straight sets, 6-0, 7-6 (7-4), while Faltynkova defeated Ndali Ijomah, 6-2, 6-3, improving her record to 18-3.
The Cowgirls have one more match before the Big 12 Championships in Waco, Texas. The Cowgirls will return to action on Wed., as they take on the Missouri Tigers in Waco.
