OSU Spring Softball Classic Postponed

Stillwater, Okla. - Heavy rains throughout the night early Friday morning has cancelled the first day of the OSU Spring Softball Classic here Friday, and rescheduling is eminent for the remainder of the weekend.

The tournament is tentatively set to begin play Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., although the forecast for more rain all day Friday and early Saturday morning may change that as well.

Evansville, which was scheduled to play on Saturday and Sunday, has elected to withdraw from the tournament. Other teams still scheduled to compete are Creighton, Ole Miss, Tulsa, Southwest Missouri State and Oklahoma State.
