Oklahoma State's baseball team pulled out a 6-5 win over Washington State this afternoon at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
With the win, the Cowboys improve their record to 7-2 on the season, and the Cougars fall to 3-6.
Oklahoma State got on top quickly, scoring two runs in the first inning as Jos? Virgil hit a two-run homer, scoring Brian Kraft who had reached on a walk.
Washington State then added three runs off of a Justin Williams home run to right center in the second inning to take the lead, 3-2. Oklahoma State then answered with three runs of its own in the bottom of the inning to lead 5-3.
The Cougars then tied the game at five as Stefan Bailie hit a solo home run to center and Williams drove in Tyson Boston on a single to right field.
