Women's Tennis Duo Advances to Consolation Finals

Junior Linda Faltynkova and sophomore Katia Kolodynska advanced to the consolation finals at the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships on Friday in Dallas, Texas.
The No. 2 seeded duo defeated No. 47 ranked Kendall Cline and Aniela Mojzis of North Carolina 8-5 in the semifinals match.
Faltynkova and Kolodynska will face the winner of the other semifinals match, which is between No. 28 ranked Nataly Chana and Ana Radeljevic of Old Dominion and Beverly Dawson and Irena Tereschenko of Texas Tech.
The consolation finals match will take place Saturday afternoon.
The duo will be playing in their second finals match of the fall season, They also played in the finals match at the Riviera Women's All-American Championships, which led them to a second place finish.
