OSU Women's Netters Compete in Last Fall Tournament

Junior Linda Faltynkova and sophomore Katia Kolodynska will team up at the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Dallas.

The duo received an at-large bid and the No. 2 seed in the women's doubles bracket. Faltynkova and Kolodynksa will face Duke's Julie DeRoo and Kelly McCain in the first round on Thursday.

Faltynkova and Kolodynska have a season record of 8-4 in doubles play, including a second place finish at the Riviera Women's All-American Championships.

The Omni Hotels National Indoor Championships, the premier collegiate indoor tennis tournament, is the second of three national championship events for college tennis this season. The first events, the Riviera Women's and ITA Men's All-American Championships, were held last month and the third event is the season-ending NCAA Championships in May.

The Championship will last Nov. 8-11 at the Brookhaven Country Club.
