Stillwater, Okla. - Policies that have been in place at Lewis Field since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will also be maintained for the OSU Athletics Center for the remainder of the season. Other issues have also been addressed, and will be implemented starting with the OSU vs. Cincinnati basketball game Friday night.
All bags, backpacks, fanny packs and large purses (larger than 10 inches-by-10 inches) are prohibited. Purses that meet the dimension criteria must be checked before they are allowed into the Arena.
Fans will not be allowed to re-enter the facility once they have gained access. It will be necessary for persons wishing to smoke during intermission to go to doors in the northeast lobby for access to the smoking area.
These policies have been implemented with the safety of the OSU fans, student-athletes, and employees in mind. Doors to Gallagher-Iba Arena open 1-1/2 hours prior to the start of all men's basketball games, and one hour prior to women's basketball games and wrestling matches.
