Cowboy Harriers Takes Second at the District V Meet

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Oklahoma State's men's cross country team placed second at the District V Championships in Carbondale, Ill today.
The Cowboy were runner up to champion Minnesota. The 10K race was won by Shadrack Kimeli of Kansas State. Nebraska, Iowa, Loyola and Illinois State rounded out the top six.
The second-place finish earns the Cowboys a spot in the NCAA Championships in Greenville, S.C. on Nov. 19th. This will be the Cowboys eighth strait NCAA appearance.
Sophomore Jason Woolhouse crossed the finish line first for the Cowboys with a seventh-place finish. Ben Lake, junior, was the next finisher for the Cowboys. He finished the race in 12th place.
Sophomore Derek Tate finished the race in 14th place. Juniors Ben Sigle and Sophomore Chris McWatters rounded out the team scoring finishing in 24nd and 38th place respectively.
The Cowboys will finish the season in the NCAA Championships in Greenville, SC on Nov. 19th
