OSU Women's Netter in Consolation Finals

Oklahoma State's women's tennis player, senior Dominika Olszewska advanced to the consolation finals on Saturday of the Omni Hotels Region Tennis Championships in Tulsa.

Olszewska defeated New Mexico's Sanja Hannson 6-1, 6-3 in the semifinals. She will face Kathy Chuda of Kansas State in the consolation finals on Sunday.

Junior Katia Vasylyeva defeated Utah State's Sarah Lowe 6-2, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket on Saturday. Vasylyeva fell to Kansas State's Chuda in the consolation finals 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.

Senior Ashleigh Dolman and Olszewska teamed up to beat Cassie Drake and Mary Barry of Missouri 8-3 in the doubles semifinal round in the main draw bracket. The duo lost to Renate Stoop and Helen Lawson of Boise State 8-6 in the semifinal round.

Sunday's match times are to be announced at a later time.
