Cowgirl Netters Compete in Tulsa

The Oklahoma State women's tennis team will play in the Omini Hotels Central Region Tennis Championships, Oct. 24-28, in Tulsa.
Thursday will consist of the qualifying singles and doubles bracket. Senior Ashleigh Dolman and junior Erin Pauchnik will look qualify for the main draw bracket.
Dolman will go up against Oklahoma's Jessica Braver in the first round of the qualifying bracket.
Pauchnik will face Kansas State's Hayley McIver in the first round.
Four of the Cowgirls already have spots in the main draw bracket and will begin play as soon as the qualifiers have been decided.
Junior Linda Faltynkova, ranked No. 62, will play Wyoming's Jenny Bowman in the first round. Faltynkova is the No. 3 seed in the tournament.
Sophomore Katia Kolodynska, No. 12 seed, will go up against Oyuki Cruz of Southwest Missouri State in the first round.
Senior Dominika Olszewska, No. 10 seed, will face Northern Arizona's Yvonne de Waal in the first round.
No. 11 seed junior Katia Vasylyeva will play in the first round against Oklahoma's Elena Jimova.
The Cowgirls also have two doubles teams competing in the main draw of the doubles bracket.
Pauchnik and Vasylyeva will face Air Force Academy's Shelby and Black.
Dolman and Olszewska, No. 6 seed, have a first round bye.
