OSU Women's Netters Advance to Quarterfinals

Oklahoma State's women's doubles team, junior Linda Faltynkova and sophomore Katarzyna Kolodynska, advanced to the Quarterfinals on Thursday at the Riviera Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

The duo made it through the First Round by beating Kentucky's Carolina Mayorga and Sarah Witten 8-4.

They will face Kendall Cline and Aniela Mojzis of North Carolina on Friday in the Quarterfinals.

For the men's team, seniors Matt Prentice and Fran Krepelka lost in the First Round of the doubles competition at the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Stone Mountain, Ga. on Thursday.

The duo lost to Andrew Colombo and Tiago Ruffoni of Auburn 9-7.

Prentice lost two singles matches on Thursday including a loss to Georgia Tech's Roger Anderson 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

The other loss came in the Consolation Round against Tulsa's Dane McGregor 6-1, 6-3.
