Cowgirls complete first day at UNLV Invitational

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Three Cowgirls won their first-round matches at the UNLV Invitational Friday night at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas.
In flight one, Dominika Olszewska picked up a victory to advance to the second round. Maria Galoustova lost to Minnesota's Michael Havekova after retiring in the third set.
Linda Faltynkova also advanced with a victory over Tammy Wang of Minnesota in flight two. Competing in her first collegiate event, Katarzyna Kotodynska fell to Tennessee's Agnes Wiski.
In flight three, Ashleigh Dolman notched a two-set victory to move on in the winner's bracket.
In doubles action, the Cowgirls no. 1 duo, Dolman and Galoustova, lost to UNLV's nationally-ranked tandum of Marianne Bakken and Agnieszka Abram.
