BALTIMORE, Md. - Oklahoma State's nationally-ranked doubles team of Ashleigh Dolman and Maria Galoustova lost in the quarterfinals of the T. Rowe Price National Intercollegiate Clay Court Championships on Friday.
The Cowgirl duo took the first set in a tiebreak from the nation's No. 8 team, Ohio State's Kristy Dacoli and Monica Rincon, before falling in three sets, 6-7 (7), 6-3, 6-1. The loss came one day after the Dolman and Galoustova, who are ranked No. 20, had knocked off the country's eleventh-ranked doubles squad.
Earlier in the day, Galoustova lost in the first round of consolation play to William and Mary's Carlijn Buis in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5.
The tournament is the opening leg of the collegiate grand slam and is being held at the Suburban Club of Baltimore County.
