OSU is 8-0 this fall and coming off a 5-0 record at the Oklahoma Shootout. The Cowgirls are led offensively by senior second baseman Lezli Leathers, who is currently batting .667 with 14 hits in 21 at-bats. She also leads the team in slugging percentage (.905) and on-base percentage (.708). Sophomore catcher Ryan Realmuto is second on the team in batting average, hitting at a .542 clip, and leads the team in runs batted in with 14.
On the mound, Oklahoma State has used four pitchers, led by sophomore Lauren Bay's 0.46 earned run average. The British Columbia, Canada, product is 3-0 during the fall and has 21 strikeouts in just 15-1/3 innings pitched, an average of 9.7 Ks per game. Freshman Tiffany Paper leads the team with a 4-0 record, 1.05 ERA and two shutouts.
Oklahoma State will host another tripleheader on Wednesday, Sept. 27, before concluding the fall season on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in the Kansas City Invitational.
