STILLWATER, Okla. - Fans are invited to attend the Oklahoma State softball program's presentation ceremony Sunday, Aug. 20, in honor of Pauline Winter.
Winter, one of the first softball coaches at OSU, has purchased 28 chair-back seats -- one for each of the players she coached in her two-year stint as head coach -- at the newly renovated Cowgirl Stadium.
The Aug. 20 ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. and will last around 30 minutes. Dress is casual.
In addition, a scholarship fund has been set up in Winter's behalf. Persons interested in making a donation can send a check, made out to "Pauline Winter Scholarship Fund," addressed to Joyce Wood, 4701 S. Washington, Stillwater, OK 74074.
