WICHITA, Kan. -- The No. 59 Oklahoma State women's tennis team defeated Wichita State in impressive fashion Thursday at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
The Cowgirls, 10-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play, won all six of their singles matches in straight sets before winning all three doubles matches against the Shockers.
The win was the second in as many days for OSU. On Wednesday, the Cowgirls downed arch-rival Oklahoma, 6-3 in Norman.
Freshman Linda Faltynkova extended her winning streak to 11 consecutive matches with her convincing win at the No. 3 spot and improved to 12-1 overall.
Thursday's contest was originally scheduled for March 9, but was pushed back due to inclement weather.
The Cowgirls will return to Big 12 play on April 7 when they travel to Missouri.
