STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's 18th-ranked softball team will host NAIA-powerhouse Oklahoma City on Tuesday, March 21, at 3 p.m. at Little Couch Park in Stillwater. The Cowgirls are 23-9 this season, while the second-ranked Stars are 28-3.
Oklahoma State swept a tripleheader scrimmage from OCU earlier this season, winning by scores of 8-5, 3-2 and 2-1. The Stars are coming off four impressive wins in the Emporia State Invitational this past weekend. OSU's Cowgirl Classic, scheduled for this past weekend, was cancelled due to weather.

Also hitting well for OSU are sophomore third-baseman Jenny Kipp with a .366 batting average, and freshman designated player Kirsty Jennings, who is batting .361 with 8 doubles, 2 home runs and a team-leading 28 runs batted in.
On the mound, Oklahoma State will go with one-of-two freshmen, either righthander Karla Rivera or lefthander Lauren Bay. Rivera is 9-2 this season with a 1.73 earned run average, while Bay is 8-5 with a 2.00 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 87-2/3 innings.
On Thursday, OSU will travel to Tulsa, Okla., for a pair of games, the first vs. Tulsa at 3:15 p.m., and the second against Arkansas, immediately following the first game.
