STILLWATER, Okla. - Due to circumstances related to the implementation of the new Student Information System, Oklahoma State students will not be able to purchase All-Sports Tickets via the web when enrolling for the Fall 2000 semester.
Beginning March 20, and through April 21, students are encouraged to stop by a temporary table set up on the first floor in the new Student Center Atrium. The Atrium is located on the east end of the Student Union. At the table, students can quickly swipe their student IDs to purchase the Ticket.
"We believe the value of the All-Sports Ticket is worth the extra couple of minutes it will take to stop by and purchase the Ticket," ?said OSU Community and University Relations Director Kerry O'Keefe. "We are hopeful that this will be just a temporary situation while the Student Information System infrastructure is being completed."
The All-Sports Ticket, which is charged to the students' Bursar Account and costs $83, will allow the student entry into all OSU Athletic events, excluding men's basketball during the 2000-2001 academic year. Spouses and children of OSU students also have the opportunity of purchasing an Athletic Activity Card, which will provide the same advantages as the AST. When purchasing an Activity Card with the All-Sports Ticket, please provide proof of spousal relationship.
"The All-Sports Ticket is a great opportunity for all OSU students to be involved in Oklahoma State Athletics," said O'Keefe. "With OU football coming to Stillwater next season, the grand opening of both the new Athletic Center and the new Cowgirl Softball Complex, as well as new amenities added to the soccer and baseball facilities, it will be a great year to be a part of OSU Athletics."
After April 21, as enrollment continues throughout the summer, students will be able to purchase the AST in Sectioning on the fourth floor of the Student Union or by visiting the Athletic Ticket office, located at 1224 N. Boomer Road. If purchasing the Activity Card, it will be necessary to visit the Boomer Road location.
