Cowgirls Advance To Consolation Finals At Rolex Nationals

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas. - Ashleigh Dolman and Maria Galoustova advanced to the consolation finals of the Rolex Indoor Intercollegiate Nationals on Friday at Brookhaven Country Club.
The Cowgirl doubles squad advanced after No. 3-ranked Marissa Catlin and Aarthi Venkatesan of Georgia were forced to retire due to injury.
Dolman, a sophomore, and Galoustova, a junior, will take on Texas Christian's Lucie Dvorakova and Daria Zoldakova on Saturday at noon.
The last time the two teams met, Dvorakova and Zoldakova defeated the Cowgirl tandem on October 23 at the Texas-Arlington Invitational 8-6. Ironically, it was the pairs' last loss before reeling off 12 consecutive wins to close out the fall campaign.
