Session I:
Pitchers and Catchers
Saturday, January 20 - 9-1 p.m.
COST: $65
This will be a one-day instructional clinic covering fastpitch pitching skills. Pitchers will be divided into skill groups and instructed according to their ability. Various pitches will be introduced and the mental game will also be discussed. Catchers will receive in-depth instruction relative to their position. There will be a discussion and participation in the basic mechanics of catching including: pickoffs, steals, blocking balls, calling pitches and reading hitters.
Session II:
Batting and Bunting
Sunday, January 21 - 9-1 p.m.
COST: $65
This clinic will provide in-depth instruction on fastpitch hitting fundamentals and bunting. You will receive demonstration and drill strategy that will improve your game. Skill development in these areas is a must for aspiring athletes.
Who May Attend:
All girls, ages six (6) and older. High school seniors ARE allowed to participate under NCAA Rules.
Clinic Times:
Registration is from 8 - 9 a.m.
Clinic will run from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
How Much:
The cost for attending these instruction-packed, one-day clinics is $65. Each Cowgirl Softball Clinic will include:
- Four hours of in-depth instruction
- Secondary Insurance
- Clinic T-Shirt
How to Register (from 8 - 9 a.m.):
Registration will be held at Stillwater Junior High Saturday from 8 - 9 a.m. Please be there prior to 8:45 a.m. (see map). Registration on Sunday will be at the Indoor Hitting Facility (old IGA building) - see map.
What to Bring:
Bring your glove, tennis shoes, practice clothes and sweat pants. Catchers, bring your own catching gear. For hitting clinics, bring your own bat with your name on it. (Be prepared to participate outdoors.)
