Seven Cowboy Runners Named To Academic All-Big 12 Team

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State's 11th-ranked men's cross country team had seven runners named to the Academic All-Big 12 list.
OSU led the conference with six first-team honorees. Those honored on the first team were Kevin Connolly, Matt Hart, Ben Lake, Gregory Rouault, Benjamin Sigle and Trey Vernon. Cowboy Chris McWatters was among those honored on the second team.
To qualify for the first team, one must maintain a 3.2 or better grade-point average, while the second team must have a 3.0 to 3.19 GPA. The members also must have participated in 60 percent of his team's contests.
The Cowboys travel this weekend to the Big 12 Cross Country Championships in Boulder, Colo.
