OSU held Baylor to 26.2-percent shooting overall, the worst mark by a
Cowboy opponent since Drexel shot 25.4 percent in the Cowboys' second-round
NCAA Tournament victory March 16, 1995.
Desmond Mason recorded his sixth career double-double with 10 points
and 10 rebounds. He also had four steals, giving him 137 in his career and
moving him into eighth place in OSU history in that career category, one
steal behind Joe Adkins.
Doug Gottlieb reached double figures in assists for the 31st time in
his career. With 828 assists in his career, Gottlieb now moves into a tie
for 16th place in NCAA Division I history with SMU's Butch Moore, who played
during the mid-1980s.
