Cowgirl Softball Hosts Pair Of Mini-Tournaments

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl softball team will host a pair of mini-tournaments this weekend at Little Couch Park. The Cowgirls are scheduled to play at 11 a.m., 5 and 7 p.m. each day.
The tournament will begin Saturday morning at 9 a.m., with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO) playing Carl Albert Junior College. NEO will stay on the field for the next game with the Cowgirls at 11 a.m., followed by Tulsa vs. Carl Albert at 1 p.m.
Tulsa and NEO will play at 3 p.m., followed by the first of two more games for OSU. The Cowgirls will play Carl Albert at 5 p.m. and conclude the day with a 7 p.m. battle with Tulsa.
On Sunday, Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) will play Butler of Kansas at 9 a.m., and Butler will play Oklahoma State at 11 a.m. NOC will come back and play Connors State College at 1 p.m., followed by CSC-Butler at 3 p.m. The weekend will end with OSU vs. NOC at 5 p.m. and OSU vs. CSC at 7 p.m.
The games will be played at Little Couch Park just south and east of 12th and Perkins, next to the Stillwater High School football field. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students and youth. OSU students get in free with the All-Sports Ticket. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, as bleacher seating is limited.
