STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will host Wichita State on Thursday at the DuBois Center beginning at 1 p.m.
The Cowgirls look to continue their impressive 1999 spring season during which they have complied a 9-4 overall record, 2-2 in Big 12 play.
Several of the Cowgirls were tough during singles action in the month of March. Senior Martina Hautova went 5-1 in March while playing at No. 3; her overall season record is 10-3. Junior Marketa Chmelova has compiled a 9-4 record and went 5-1 in March while palyingat No. 4. Freshman Dominika Olszewska showed why she was actively recruited by going 6-0 in March and 9-2 on the season while playing at No. 2.
In doubles play, the duo of sophomore Maria Galoustova and freshman Ashleigh Dolman went undefeated in six March contests, compiling an 8-2 season record while playing No. 1 doubles.
