Women's Tennis Advances in Big 12 Tournament

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. - Oklahoma State's women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tennis Tournament with a 5-1 win over Missouri at the Varsity Tennis Center.
The match was over after singles play with the Cowgirls winning at Nos. two through six. Sophomore Cameron Stoudt battled back for a much-needed win at No. 5 defeating the Missouri's Joni Jordan, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5. Senior Martina Hautova made quick work of Andrea Friedman at No. 3, 6-3, 6-0.
"Probably the nicest thing was Cameron winning, after she struggled all season. We changed her racket right before the match and looked what happened," said head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski. "She beat the girl who played No. 1
With the win the Cowgirls advance to face the third-seed Kansas. The match is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
