Softball Heads to National Invitational Championship

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State's Cowgirl softball team travels to Macomb, Ill., this weekend to compete in the National Invitational Championship, Sept. 25-27. It will be the third tournament of the fall season for OSU.
The Cowgirls begin play on Friday at 11 a.m. when OSU takes on St. Louis. They will follow up that game with a 3 p.m. start vs. Illinois State.
On Saturday, OSU will play Southeast Missouri State at 1 p.m. and Northern Iowa at 5 p.m. Bracket play will begin Saturday night at 7 p.m.
The Cowgirls are 5-1 and currently on a five-game winning streak. They recently won the Cowgirl Fall Mini-Tournament II, last weekend in Stillwater.
