Softball Competes in Kansas City Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl softball team will compete in the Kansas City Invitational this weekend, Oct. 2-4, at Adair Park in Independence, Mo. It will be the final fall action for OSU this season.

The Cowgirls (7-3) will open with Southwest Missouri State on Friday at 5 p.m. On Saturday, prior to the Oklahoma State-Nebraska football game, the Cowgirls will play Nebraska at 11 a.m. and Kansas at 1 p.m. The tournament will conclude on Sunday with OSU playing UMKC at 10 a.m. and Missouri at noon.

Oklahoma State fans in the Kansas City area for the football game are encouraged to attend. Adair Park is five miles east of Arrowhead Stadium off Interstate 70. To get to the field, take exit 14 off of I-70 and go south approximately 1/2 mile. Adair Park will be on the right.
