OSU Posse Opens New Offices

The Oklahoma State University Athletic Department has moved its development office, the POSSE, from Gallagher-Iba Arena on the OSU campus to the former Bank N.A. building at 1224 N. Boomer Road in Stillwater (74078). The telephone number for the POSSE, 405-744-7301, remains the same.
This new location, three blocks north of the campus at the corner of Knoblock and Boomer, will be home to the POSSE for the next two years. The move is in anticipation of the renovation and expansion of the 60-year-old arena into a state-of-the-art Athletic Center. Groundbreaking for the construction is set for this fall, with completion prior to the 2000-2001 basketball season. The new multi-sport complex will feature a seating capacity nearly double the current size of 6,381, plus an academic center for student-athletes, a new wrestling room, larger strength and conditioning facilities, expanded locker rooms, a sports medicine center, an auxiliary gymnasium, coaches' and administrative offices, and a Heritage Hall to showcase OSU's rich sports history.
Later this summer, the OSU Ticket Office will also be moving to the Boomer Road address, which will feature a drive-up window for ticket purchases and will-call services.
