OSU Athletics Reminds Tailgaters of a Burn Ban

STILLWATER, Okla. - The OSU athletics department is reminding Cowboy fans that because Payne County remains under a burning ban, charcoal and wood burning is prohibited in Stillwater.

Gas grills and Coleman-type stoves are permissible during this fire ban, so Cowboy tailgaters should prepare their pre-game festivities accordingly.

The Cowboy football team opens its home schedule Saturday with a 6 p.m. kickoff against 25th-ranked Missippi State on Lewis Field.
