OSU 19th in Sears Cup Fall Standings

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State finds itself in a familiar spot among the nation's most successful college athletic programs with the release of the fall standings of the Sears Director's Cup.
OSU is in a three-way tie for 19th place in the fall standings and is one of just five Big 12 institutions among the top 35.
The standings released this week are based on the completion of men's and women's cross country and field hockey. Oklahoma State finished 14th in men's cross country and 20th in women's cross country. Those championships were conducted at Lawrence, Kansas.
Other Big 12 schools among the top 35 in the Sears Cup Standings are Colorado (5), Baylor (T 19), Kansas State (T 22) and Missouri (T 22). Stanford leads the standings after claiming second-place in men's cross country and third-place in women's cross country.
The Sears Director's Cup is presented annually by the nation's athletics directors.
