Gilmore Announces Plans to Transfer

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State men's basketball player John Gilmore plans to transfer to another school, the Cowboys announced today.

"We want to thank John for his time with the OSU basketball program," said head coach Eddie Sutton. "We understand his desire for more playing time, and we wish him the best in the future."

Gilmore played seven games as a junior in 1998-99, averaging 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field. He had been a regular contributor until an injury during an early-season tournament in Hawaii, and he played well in an exhibition game when he scored 15 points and five rebounds against the California East All-Stars.
