Gallagher-Iba Entrances Restricted Beginning Monday

STILLWATER, Okla. - With construction underway on Oklahoma State's Athletic Center, public entrances into the building for basketball and wrestling events will be restricted beginning Monday, February 1, 1999.
All entrances will be available for the men's basketball game against Southern Mississippi on Wednesday, Jan. 27 and the women's basketball game vs. Colorado on Thursday, Jan. 28. All entrances will also be available for wrestling and basketball on Saturday, Jan. 30.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 1, however, the construction fence will be completed around the facility and public entrances will be restricted. The first event that will take place with restricted access is the NWCA All Star Wrestling event scheduled for Monday, Feb. 1.
The main entrance for the general public for all events beginning Monday will be the east doors of Gallagher-Iba. A temporary walkway will be available for the public on the east side of the building and can be accessed from the north or the south.
All students will enter the building through the south doors, as will the media and all others with passes. Beginning Monday, doors on the north and west will not be available for entrance into athletic events.
Construction on the Athletic Center is expected to last approximately two years.
