STILLWATER, Okla. - Units from Stillwater Fire Department responded Wednesday morning to a fire in Gallagher-Iba Arena on the Oklahoma State University campus.
The fire apparently started on the first floor of the building in the men's basketball dressing room and was contained to that area.
Don Pierce, OSU's Manager of Environmental Health Services, said the dressing room received the most extensive damage although there was smoke and water damage in adjoining areas of the building.
Pierce said the cause of the fire was under investigation. No injuries were reported in the building, which is currently vacant and under construction as part of the $51 million OSU Athletic Center.
