STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's tennis team upped it's record to 6-3 on the season and 1-2 in Big 12 action with Saturday's win at the DuBois Center over Missouri, 7-2.
In singles play the Cowgirls warmed up, despite the gloomy weather and below-freezing wind chill, to take four of six matches from Missouri. The Cowgirls won at Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 all in straight sets.
The Cowgirls continued to roll in doubles action easily sweeping all three doubles matches.
"I am very happy with this weekends results," head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski said. " The girls are beginning to find their individual games, which allows for us to gel as a team. But next week we will see exactly where we are."
The Cowgirls are back in action next Sunday March 14 when they host Kansas State at the Dubois Center. With singles matches beginning at noon.
The last time OSU faced K-State was last season in the Big 12 championships with the Cowgirls losing to the Wildcats, 5-1.
