Cowgirl Netters Down Wichita State, 8-1

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's tennis team swept Wichita State, 8-1, Thursday at the DuBois Center.
The Cowgirls came out on fire in singles action winning all six matches in straight sets. At No. 4, junior Marketa Chmelova defeated Wichita State's Steph Immich 6-1, 6-1. Freshman Ashleigh Dolman also played a strong match at No. 5, defeating the Shocker's Julie Perovic 6-1, 6-1.
In doubles action, the No. 1 duo of Maria Galoustova and Dolman took an injury default, so everyone else moved up a spot in the order. The Cowgirls easily won the remaining two doubles spots.
The Cowgirls will return to action at the DuBois Center at noon Monday when they host Big 12-foe Baylor.
