EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's tennis team beat Arkansas State here Saturday 7-2 at the Oak Tree Tennis facility.
The Cowgirls established their dominance early in singles action, winning four-of-six matches in straight sets. Sophomore Maria Galoustova made quick work of Bianca Posada winning the match in a mere 30 minutes, 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles action, OSU showed it's true strength easily defeating ASU in all three matches.
"We played very well," head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski said. "I am happy where we are as a team, we are ready to play Wichita State."
Oklahoma State (9-4, 2-2 Big 12) will return to action this Thursday at the DuBois Center when the Cowgirls host to Wichita State, the match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
